Lebanon is located along the Santiam River in Western Oregon at the central east edge of the Willamette Valley. Lebanon offers great outdoor amenities including fishing, golfing, and walking and hiking trails through city parks. Lebanon is a short drive from the Cascade Mountain range, a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, which provide an ever greater range of activities including hiking, mountain biking, and skiing.
Lebanon is a half hour drive from either Corvallis or Albany, making it close enough to enjoy the additional entertainment, employment options, and health care services both cities offer.
- Taking place during the first week of June, the Lebanon Oregon Strawberry Festival has been an annual event since 1909. The festival features a parade, live entertainment, a 5K run and walk, and the World's largest shortcake.
