Dog Parks Willamette Valley

Feeling a little stir-crazy stuck inside your home? That goes double for your dog! Walking in new areas provides your canine with physical exercise and mental stimulation. If a puppy is left indoors for too long, they can become bored with their surroundings and their behavior might slip. Thankfully, there are plenty of places around town to make your dog happy. Our REALTORS® encourage you to grab a long leash and get some fresh air with your pup at one of these four parks in the Mid-Willamette Valley.

  1. Woodland Meadow Park – 3540 NW Circle Blvd., Corvallis, OR 97330
Do you love watching your pup run free? Then take them to Woodland Meadow Park where they can run, jump, and play without a leash. Woodland Meadow Park has sprawling wildflower meadows where pups and humans alike are allowed to explore without limits. The park also has picnic tables where you can take a seat and rest after a day playing in the sun; just make sure to bring enough water for both of you!

  2. Albany Dog Park – 3650 Dogwood Ave. SE, Albany, OR 97322
If you're taking the kids to play at Timber Linn Park, bring your four-legged friend and let them have fun at the Albany Dog Park right next door. This dog park features a total of two-acres of space for canines, divided into two areas for small dogs and large dogs. Albany Dog Park has amenities for all dogs to share including a drinking water station, plenty of shade, and dog bag waste dispensers to clean up any mess before you leave.

  3. McDowell Creek Falls – 43170 McDowell Creek Dr., Lebanon, OR 97355
Just outside of Lebanon, you'll find McDowell Creek Falls, a wonderful park that is open year-round for exploring. This park is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts who love to hike, fish, bird-watch, and picnic. Three miles of trail, viewing decks, and bridges will lead you to lush greenery, beautiful vistas, and the lovely Royal Terrace and Majestic Falls. It's a serene experience that offers the opportunity for you and your pup to escape into the wonders of nature together.

  4. Bob Smith Memorial Park – 2889 S Main Rd., Lebanon, OR 97355
Be sure to stop by Bob Smith Memorial Park. This family-friendly area is perfect for children. It hosts three baseball fields and concessions are often available during games. A small playground is on-site as well for the little ones to play in. Of course, your furry friend can join your family in the park as long as they are on a leash.

  5. Mary's River Park - 300 S 11th St., Philomath, OR 97370
Marys River Park has nearly 30-acres of undeveloped land to enjoy with your pup. This includes an unfenced off-leash area where dogs can run. Aside from dog-walking, there are also horseshoe pits, a playground, and a 9-hole disc golf course for families to use. Since this park closes in mid-October, be sure to take your four-legged friend before it's too late!
