  Less than 20 minutes away from Corvallis Farmers' Market is their equally wonderful sister market. Find the same high-quality produce and foods at Albany Farmers' Market. Leashed dogs are welcome at this market in the historic downtown area, adjacent to the park-like grounds of the Linn County Courthouse. Albany's market is open on Saturday only from April 15 through November 18. Hours are 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
  
  
• Peoria Road Farm Market - 33269 SE Peoria Road., Corvallis, OR 97333
  Many of the families living near Albany and Corvallis have made an annual tradition of shopping at the family-owned Peoria Road Farm Market. From the charming farmhouse-style building to the selection of locally-grown fresh produce, shopping at this market is a great experience. The owners also support the community by selling pottery, garden art, and other decorative items made by local artisans. Kids have fun posing as a sunflower, corn cob, or scarecrow behind the picture stand-in boards.   Bright and early each morning, the family behind Grandpa's Fresh Market is out in the fields picking the finest fresh produce for the day. At various times throughout the season, customers get to join in the fun with u-pick strawberries, green beans, tomatoes, and other fruits and vegetables.   In 1943, inspired by California's "tailgate markets," the City Council established Salem Public Market, making it the oldest such establishment in Oregon. After a valiant attempt to hold the market outdoors, volunteers built the current sheltered location in Salem. Approximately 2,000 visitors stop by each week for produce, dairy products, fresh baked goods, homemade soups, locally-raised beef and lamb, and artisan-crafted items. Salem Public Market is open year-round on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
