Northwest Art & Air Festival – 900 Price Rd. SE, Albany, OR 97322
The Northwest Art & Air Festival will be returning to the beautiful confines of Timber Linn Memorial Park for three full days of fun just in time to close out the summer. The event brings together hot air balloons, which start launching at 6:45 AM daily, along with live music, a huge selection of art vendors, a fun family zone, and of course, plenty of great food at the food court. You can enjoy it all August 25–27, 2023, and the festival is free to attend.
River Rhythms – 900 Price Rd. SE, Albany, OR 97322
Timber Linn Memorial Park is a popular place for festivals, and it will also be hosting River Rhythms series of concerts throughout the summer this year. So far, the shows include Debbie Gibson on July 20, 2023, a TBA performer on July 27, Home Free on August 3, and Foghat on August 10. There's no charge to attend, though a $1 donation is encouraged upon entering the park for the shows.
Summer Sounds – 900 Price Rd. SE, Albany, OR 97322
The Summer Sounds concert series will also be returning for 2023, with a temporary location at – you guessed it – Timber Linn Memorial Park. This series includes both local and nationally known bands from many different musical genres, offering variety all summer long. There are concerts on select Mondays throughout the summer, including on July 10, 17, 24, and 31, 2023, all free to attend.
Benton County Fair & Rodeo – 110 SW 53rd St., Corvallis, OR 97333
For many local residents, summer simply isn't complete without a trip to the Benton County Fair & Rodeo in Corvallis. Make the pilgrimage to the Benton County Fairgrounds August 2–5, 2023, for four full days packed with rides, carnival games, exhibitions, live performances, fantastic vendors, and an exciting rodeo. There's so much to see and do that attending the fair on multiple days is practically a must to experience it all.
Red, White & Blue Riverfront Festival – NW 1st St., Corvallis OR 97333
The Red, White & Blue Riverfront Festival is another can't-miss summer experience in Corvallis and the perfect way to celebrate the 4th of July in 2023, with events running all day from 11:00 AM until the fireworks show at 10:00 PM. In between, you can enjoy live music, inflatables for the kids, shopping from great local vendors, and of course, tons of delicious dining options.
Shrewsbury Renaissance Faire – Hwy. 223 & Grant Rd., Kings Valley, OR 97330
Turn the clock back to a long distant era and immerse yourself in the Renaissance experience at the wonderful Shrewsbury Renaissance Faire, which takes place this year on September 9 & 10, 2023. Enjoy a day filled with jousting knights, wandering minstrels, and historical fun, all designed to be enjoyed by family members of all ages.
