Stop by to explore the expansive visitor center, speak with the friendly, knowledgeable staff, and take a behind-the-scenes tour to learn all about the research that happens here.     Ripley's Believe It or Not is another family-friendly attraction where you can "experience the extraordinary" by exploring hundreds of unique artifacts, oddities, exhibits, and hands-on experiences. Visit the Star Room to feel like you're exploring space, explore the outdoor Walk Among Giants exhibit, which features some truly one-of-a-kind sculptures, and try out the Test Your Skills area, where you can take on a wide range of exciting challenges that put your various skills to the test. These include the chance to test your agility by sneaking through an obstacle course crisscrossed by lasers, just like in the movies.

    The Yaquina Head Lighthouse
    stands as Oregon's tallest lighthouse at 93 feet. Constructed in 1872 using over 370,000 bricks, this historic beacon has been guiding mariners since its first lighting on August 20, 1873. Today, visitors can explore the lighthouse and its surroundings, which are part of the Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area. This area offers exceptional opportunities for tide pooling at Cobble Beach, bird-watching, and even glimpses of migrating gray whales during the winter and spring months.
